The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (more commonly known as United Kingdom or simply UK) was a pre-war nation that recided on the British Isles.

Timeline Edit

  • 23 June 2017: The UK votes to leave the EU. This turned out to be fruitless however as the withdrawal never occurred formally.
  • 15 August 2027: The NHS is sold to an American company causing public outrage.
  • 28 March 2058: Fearing a war with Europe over the oil crisis, Parliament votes in favour of legalising firearms in order to counteract any invasion.
  • 4 January 2060: The UK leaves the EU after the EU is dispanded.
  • 6 October 2061: The European Civil War began. The UK keeps to itself to prevent any waste in resources.
  • 18 June 2063: Nationwide oil rationing takes effect causing riots. The government enforces a nationwide curfew.
  • 23 June 2063: The PM is assassinated during a press conference leaving parliament in turmoil.
  • 25 June 2063: After no progress in parliament, the monarchy steps in and dissolves parliament. The Queen now rules the country.
  • 2065: The Queen, fearing a cataclysmic event, orders the construction of underground vaults by VaultTech's sister company Lockdown LTD in the UK.
  • 2072: The final vaults are completes. 85 are constructed in total.
  • 2075: Relations with the US deteriorate after the US decides to annex Canada. The UK is cut-off from it's final oil supplier.
  • 2076: Nationwide oil rationing comes into effect causing riots and civil unrest. A nationwide curfew is enforced.
  • 23 October 2077: The Great War
    • 9:31am: RAF radar detects missiles heading for London and Portsmouth. They confirm missiles are from China.
    • 9:33am: National emergency is declared and people are ordered to the vaults.
    • 9:36am: Nuclear missiles and bombers are launched against Chinese targets.
    • 9:46am: Nuclear missiles hit London.
    • 9:50am: Nuclear missiles hit Portsmouth. Other major locations are hit soon after.
    • 9:55am: Scottish armed forces confirm multiple nuclear detonations.
